Sir Elton John will headline the 2007 edition of the Plymouth Jazz Festival.
The Caribbean's newest music festival, held on the beautiful, un-spoilt Caribbean island of Tobago, is already becoming the most anticipated and talked about festival in the Caribbean. The 2007 Plymouth Jazz Festival kicks off on April 27th and will run for three days in the picturesque fishing village of Plymouth, Tobago.
Over the two years of the festival's existence it has become synonymous with many big name artistes starting in 2005 with headline act Stevie Wonder and including Natalie Cole, Baby Face, the O jays, India Arie, Shaggy and more. The second edition of the festival in 2006 saw performances by the electrifying British rocker Sting, Patti La Belle, Vanessa Williams among others with return stints by the' Eight Wonder of the world' and Ms Cole.
In addition to Sir Elton, the 2007 event will feature the likes of Gladys Knight, Earth Wind and Fire, Al Green, heather Headley, LL Cool J and more big name artistes yet to be announced.
