Rachid, unemployed, is a North African worker who, thanks to a friend, finds a job in a factory in the North of France. While taking part in a solidarity protest for the murder of one of them, he is reported and leaves for Paris, where he meets Mohamed. The latter, before being deported for having organized a strike, helps him be aware that he's being exploited. Rachid remains committed to the fight against racism.
