Bizerte, a provincial town 60 km northwest of Tunis. Momo, a middle-aged man, bachelor and alcoholic, has just lost his mother, whom he is unable to mourn. Douja, a young girl who has just graduated from high school, has a stubborn dream of becoming a singer; she runs away from her parents, who are violently opposed to her, and goes to try her luck in Tunis, the capital. After a failed suicide, Momo loses her way and finds herself wandering in the middle of the night on the Bizerte-Tunis highway. At the same time, Douja is dumped by her boyfriend on the same highway. That's where they meet. Douja and Momo join their loneliness for one night. After celebrating Douja's 20th birthday, they decide to find the boyfriend and take revenge.
