Meg is a white journalist who investigates AIDS and modes of transmission. She talks to Shahied and Felicity who are both sick and blame Abdullah Abrahams for their illness. Abrahams admits to having had sex with many partners and in fact all of them are sick. Meg, in the middle of the story, receives a phone call from her boyfriend but she won't let him talk because he is bothering her and she hangs up. She continues to investigate and then goes home. She then learns that her boyfriend had sex with an HIV-positive woman and that he didn't use protection. Meg, lost in her anger and distress, becomes the subject of her own story. The final question is how much importance should be attached to the person who is responsible for the infection once you are sick...
