The movie is part of a collection of poetic texts entitled 'Intimes édictées' by the author. Launched from his home in Guadeloupe during the harsh phase of the pandemic, this personal project addresses the issue of distancing, particularly in relation to his natural and emotional environment.
The author and director designed the structure of this film based on that of the so-called traditional 'quadrille' dance of Guadeloupe. It shapes the introspection of the main character. However, he intentionally takes an aesthetic and conceptual distance to express the successive states of mind of this character.
A person, faced with their doubts and confined in their thoughts, leaps, for better or for worse, into their own transcendence. We embark on their inner conversations to the rhythm of a dismantled 'quadrille' dance...
