Having returned to live with his parents, Chérif gets a job as a security guard while waiting for something better to come along. Because he can hope for more: he has met Jenny, and he has got the written part of his exams. But everything goes wrong when his life as a security guard comes into contact with a gang of idle youths who constantly make fun of him. He gets out of his depth. To get rid of them he accepts to cross to the other side - to the side of petty thieves, "business" as the say on the estate. In the space of one night, a random event, as one of the youth's loses his life, Chérif's is turned upside down…
