On the death of his father, N'TJO DEBA sees a wave of hatred and concupiscence sweep through his family. The inheritance left by his father, N'TJI DEBA, became the object of covetousness. In the absence of a will, his uncles M'PIE and NIAMN took over all the property. They leave N'TJO, his mother and sister, the family farm in their home village.
