Amir, a young Egyptian, suddenly decides to change career and study film in Rome. He is struck by premature nostalgia for Cairo, his neighbourhood, his friends, even the stray cats he feeds. On one of his last days in the city, he encounters a sensual woman and they spend a memorable night together. The film includes sexual scenes that are not appropriate for children.

Tamer EL BOUSTANY was born in 1969 in Cairo and studied film direction in Rome. He was assistant director on several feature films from 1997 to 2004, and his other short films as director are War Game (1994), Wings of Liberty (1995) and Goodbye, My Love (1996).

Amir beslist plotseling om cinematografie te gaan studeren in Italië. Juist voor zijn vertrek, in een café van Cairo, valt zijn blik op een jonge vrouw met een merkwaardige sensualiteit. Ze merken elkaar op en tussen hen ontwaakt medeplichtigheid. Zij durft hem dan uitdrukkelijk de som van 500 US dollar vragen en hij is het eens deze som onmiddellijk te betalen en samen nemen ze de weg van haar vrijgezellekamer.
