Following up on the political situation in Lebanon following the assassination of late Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri and the withdrawal of Syrian forces, Eliane Raheb interviews her friends and family, asking them how they assess the developments and how they feel about them.

"That's Lebanon!" I always hear this exclamation from my Maronite parents when an unfortunate event shakes Lebanon, and especially when they feel they are becoming a minority. I have since tried to deconstruct this attitude and question my own upbringing. For that, I have based myself on the latest political events that occurred in Lebanon since the assassination of Rafik Hariri in 2005. Eliane Raheb
