Equatorial Pictures was started by Ugandan born film director, producer and screenwriter Christopher Buyondo. The firm has produced titles such as A Christmas to Remember, an award-winning film of the 2014 Pearl International Film Festival in Uganda, Agaali Amakuka (2008 feature film), Ssinga Gwe (2009 feature film), Mystery Date (2010 short film), Good Cop Bad Cop (2012 detective) and Uganda's Moat Wanted (feature still in production).
