Pacificana, Island Reggae, RnB
Jokema was formed in 2008 when a couple of the band members realised that such a noisy past-time would sound better recorded while all the band members were studying in UPNG. With the main courses taken by the members being Geology, Chemistry and Mathematics, Jo-Ke-Ma seemed the appropriate shortened formed and thus the name was born.
Jokema hails from the Momase and New Guinea Islands Regions of Papua New Guinea and members currently reside in Port-Moresby, Lae and Rabaul.
Representing PNG music with the aim to promote in the Pacific and worldwide!
