Theater, cinema and television Actor, fervent fighter for more justice, equality and humanity, he was deputy mayor in charge of the overseas departments of the City of Paris.

Anne Hidago, the Mayor of Paris, paid tribute to him today with emotion.
"It is with infinite sadness that I learned this morning of the death of my deputy Jacques Martial at the end of a courageous fight against illness. It is a dear friend that I am losing today".

He became known on television, with his role as'Bain Marie' in the TV police series'Navarro', alongside Roger Hanin.

The family and close to Jacques are invited to come see the deceased in the MONCEAU lounge which is one of the mortuary rooms of the Menilmontant Funeral Home, at 9 Boulevard de Ménilmontant in the 11th arrondissement, Paris (Metro Philippe Auguste).
- To enter the Funerarium, do code 2580. Turn the door handle forcefully.
- The Salon MONCEAU is located just opposite. Use code 0950 to enter it.

The visiting hours:
- Friday 15, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 August from 9 am to 6 pm
- Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 August from 9 am to 7:15 pm

The funeral ceremony will then take place at the crematorium of the Père Lachaise cemetery:
- Wednesday, August 20 for family and close friends.

The schedule (Wednesday, August 20):
- 9:00: recollection before closing the coffin at the Funérarium of Ménilmontant (9 bd de Ménilmontant)
- 9h30: closure of the coffin and departure
- 10:30: secular ceremony at the Père Lachaise Crematorium: Dome Room
- 11h30: cremation; end of ceremony; departure

A gathering moment will be scheduled following this event; the address will be confirmed on the day of the funeral.

A commemoration ceremony open to the general public will be organized in early October.
