6th RENGO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2010 // CALL FOR ENTRIES
February 1st and 6th, 2010 in Rengo, Chile.
6th RENGO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2010 which will be held between 1st and 6th of February 2010 in the city of Rengo, Chile, invites international film-makers to send their film before December 18th 2009 in order to participate in one of the following competitions:
INTERNATIONAL FEATURE-LENGTH COMPETITION:
The International fiction feature-length competition is focused on young directors, film-making students, film-making graduates or independent producers and audio-visual professionals. Maximum duration : 120 min. Films must be realized or screened after January 2008.
A total of 10 works will be selected.
INTERNATIONAL FICTION SHORT FILMS COMPETITION
It is focused on young directors, film-making students, film-making graduates or independent producers and audio-visual professionals who have works with 30 minutes as a maximum duration. Films must be realized or screened after January 2008.
A total of 10 works will be selected.
BICENTENARY CELEBRATION COMPETITION "CINEMA BICENTENARIO"
With the idea of celebrating Chile and its 200 years, we integrate this category for only once, in order to recognize the cinema history in Latin America and Chile. Are able to participate professional film-making producers or students who live in any of the countries which celebrate the bicentenary between years 2009 and 2011 (Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Salvador, Mexico, Paraguay or Venezuela).
It focuses on young directors, film-making students, film-making graduates or independent producers and audio-visual professionals who have works with 30 minutes made between 1910 and 2010.
A total of 10 works will be selected.
RULES OF INSCRIPTION :
The material in DVD format, for pre-selection with all the required information, must arrive no later than Friday December 18th, 2009 at 15:00 pm. Registration should be made previously online on : http://www.festivalcinerengo.com/fecir/formulario_in.php
