This collective was created conjointly by Haitian NGOs, public figures and artists, alongside French cultural institutions. The collective's aim is to aid the culture of Haiti and support Haitian artists, who were amongst the many hit by the violent earthquake.
The collective has four key objectives:
1) Coordenate cultural projects organised in solidarity with the Haiti relief effort (festivals, concerts, etc.) over the long-term.
2) Conduct an appraisal of the Haitian cultural centres and artists hit by the earthquake, in the interests of best determining their needs.
3) Raise the funds in order to assist them.
4) Bring Haitian artists over to Europe to participate in a range of cultural manifestations throughout the year.
