We are very saddened by the passing away of two members of the mythical group Mahaleo. Fafa, the unforgettable voice on October 20th and Dadah the prolific composer-songwriter on November 3rd. The Laterit Productions team shares the great sadness of the band, their families and their fans. The religious ceremony for Dadah will take place at the temple FJKM Katedraly of Analakely Thursday, November 7 at 9 am, before burial in the family vault in Betafo (Antsirabe).

We met the group Mahaleo when making the film "Mahaleo" by Paes & Rajaonarivelo.
Led by the music of the mythical group Mahaleo, the film is a moving portrait of Madagascar. It reveals the comitment of the band in their everyday life as physicians, surgeons, sociologists or politician, and the incredible power of their songs for more than 3 generations of Malagasy.
