ZikoAfrika is a contemporary accessories brand inspired by the dual Kenyan, British heritage of founding sisters Sisi and Elle. Each product is handcrafted in Kenya and reflects both European and African design aesthetics for a modern take on traditional forms and materials.

Generating employment while promoting a positive image of the continent through high-end production is a central part of the brand ethos. In line with this, ZikoAfrika works with three ethically certified workshops and sources as many raw materials as possible from Kenya or the surrounding region.

At ZikoAfrika we believe that while more needs to be said on the human consequences of fast fashion there is no need to sacrifice style for this dialogue to take place. Rather than being driven by trends, and in line with environmentally and socially responsible production principles, we only release a limited number of pieces a year so we can focus on timeless design and allow longer lead times for our producers.
