Akram Adouani studied at the University of Montreal and the School of Arts and Cinema in Tunis. He started his career in cinema as an editor of the docu-series
"Histoires en Méditérranée", then was assistant director on the short documentary "Suk-El Grana". He co-directed the award-winning documentary The Enemy Within, screened at the Sole Luna Film Festival in Palermo. His film "Abdelkader" was selected in competition for the Alexandria Film Festival. He is currently working on the pre-production of his first feature film "Carnival" and the post-production of "The Hunter of Torturers", a feature documentary.
