She is a Producer, living and working in Ireland. From Nigerian origin (sometimes credited from Ghana).

Ama Ampadu worked on Black Swan (Darren Aronofsky), The Music Never Stopped (Jim Kohlberg), and recently El Gusto (Safinez Bousbia). She holds an MSc in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics, and worked for the United Nations for over five years. Ama is the co-founder of Slum Kid Films (Ethiopia), through which she is currently producing Lamb (Yared Zeleke). Slum Kid Films is an Ethiopian based film production company aimed at discovering and nurturing emerging talent in Africa in general, and in Ethiopia in particular, as well as supporting the development of the Ethiopian filmmaking capacity.
