First to represent Switzerland at the 4th "Jeux de la Francophonie" in Ottawa in 2001, played
on the scene of "the Astrolabe" during the Franco-Ontarien Festival with other international
artists such as: Rachid Taha, Cesaria Evora, Daniel Boucher, Lââm, Youssou N'Dour etc?
Followed be a tour of North America.
The same year Luc Plamondon called Célina to take part in the recording of the single and
video clip "L'un avec l'autre".
2002, invited at the International Festival of Theatre of Sibiu, in Romania, significant cultural
event gathering thousands of spectators.
2003, Toured accompanied by local African musicians in Ghana and Cameroon.
2004, Toured in the Philippines and through China
2005, Back to North America, the United States and Canada

Célina, her characteristics
The characteristic of Célina is of course to be an author, singer, songwriter and accordionist
but it il also her open mind and her urge to learn. She says: "The fact of being an
autodidact could have been a brake to my career if I hadn't had the chance to travel so
much and learn my job from the people I met all over the world."
Célina doesn't like monotony and reproducing the same schemes at every new place. This is
why she prepares every concert according to the place and kind of show, playing solo, her
musicians or local artists, children choirs or classical orchestras. Célina will always think
about the best possible artistic way to say thank you to her public for inviniting her to their
place.
