Chadi ZENEDDINE is a young Lebanese independent filmmaker, born in 1979 in Libreville, Gabon. He belongs to the new generation of directors who haven't lived the civil war but came back to Beirut to film his point of view and vision of the undying city.
He got a Masters of Arts in Film and Video studies at Université St Esprit de Kaslik and a BA in Communication Arts at Lebanese American University. He then pursued Cinematography courses at Spirifilm.
He worked as a director for a series of Documentaries called "Memories of Places" (14 episodes)and as a Production Coordinator and PR for TV programs such as "Fort Boyard", "Bus Stop" and "Project Fashion".
He directed a 21 min short film "Out-of-Focus" that collected many
awards.
His other passion is for writing, and he has 5 feature film scripts(non-produced yet) : "Crossing Borders", "Colors", "La Toupie", "Looking for Fellini" and "When my Dead grandfather died".
"Brahim...the Last of the Storytellers", currently in development, is the first episode of a trilogy called "STORYTELLERS of CINEMA".
He is currently living in France, continuing his PhD in Cinema Studies at the Sorbonne under the supervision of Michel Chion.
"Falling from Earth" (2008) is his first feature film.
