Dean Gichukie

Dean is a 20 year old Kenyan actor, screenwriter and film diector currently pursuing a BA in Theatre Arts and Film technology.
Under the tutelage of Kenya cinema greats such as David Mulwa and Wanjiru Kinyanjui, Dean has been in countless productions. He has also received acting training under one of the best directors in Kenya, Neil Schell and has also attended Helen O' Grady Drama School under the tutelage of Harun Nyongesa. 
Dean has been featured in several films under different roles such as:
Homecoming (February 2013) - Actor
-Performance as an inhabitant of a distant planet.

In The Hearts Of Nairobi (February 2013) - Director of Photography
-As the director of photography, bringing the image of the post election violence to life.

Le Pickpocket (February 2013) - Actor/Writer/Producer
-Acts as a pickpocket, one half of a two man pick-pocketing crew, consisting of a pickpocket and the distraction.

Suspect 123 (December 2012) -Actor/Writer/Producer                     
-Acts as Suspect 123, a hustler in the middle of a weapon smuggling operation.

Phonecall  (October 2012) - Producer/Co writer  
-The complexity that calls add to our lives, especially in crisis moments.

Lies That bind (September 2012)                       
-Acts as a political goon, hooligan, to Mr Kambo, the politician.
