Born in Guinea, Hakim Bah is the author of several plays that have been awarded numerous prizes (RFI Theatre Prize, Lyon Theatre Authors' Days Prize, Theatre Writing Prize of the city of Guérande, etc.) and grants (French Institute, Beaumarchais, CNL, ARTCENA, IDF region, DGCA, Occitanie Livre et Lecture, etc.). His plays have been published by Lansman éditeur, Théâtre Ouvert and Passages. He directed the play Outrages Ordinaires by Julie Gilbert and his play La Nuit porte caleçon. He co-directs the company Paupières Mobiles with Diane Chavelet and is the artistic director of the festival Univers des Mots.
