Hiwot Admasu GETANEH is a film director and scriptwriter. She is known for her shorts dramas New Eyes (2015) and A Fool God (2019).
Hiwot Admasu Getaneh learned the art of storytelling from her grandmother's traditional stories, often takes an experimental approach to her filmmaking. She prefers directing her own scripts.
