Norwegian-Somali-Sudanese filmmaker.

Ibrahim Mursal Warsame (Arabic: إبراهيم مُرسال, born 1990) is a Norwegian film director of Sudanese and Somali origins.

He is known for AFRICAN FAMILY DINNER (2024), "The Art of Sin" (2020), "A conversation with my gay friend" (2017).


Ibrahim Mursal is a Norwegian-Somali-Sudanese filmmaker who graduated first as an oil engineer. He then followed his passion for film, making short films and his award-winning debut documentary "The Art of Sin" (2020), a portrait of campaigning Sudanese-Norwegian artist and LGBT activist Ahmed Umer, and the critically acclaimed short comedy "African Family Dinner." (2024)
In addition to filmmaking, Mursal also serves as a film advisor to a human rights organization and lectures at universities and schools on identity and sexuality.
