She teaches dance at the National Dance School (Escola Nacional de Dança, END, Maputo).
Iva Sandra Luiz Mugalela is won the Best Female Support Role Prize for her interpretation of ROSA (VIRGEM MARGARIDA, directed by Licínio Azevedo - Mozambique), Journées Cinématographiques de Carthage (Tunisia, 2012) and for the film and role the Best Actress Award at Vues d'Afrique Film Festival (Canada, 2013).
