Jonathan Thantwe Mbuna born in 1969. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Science and an MA in Public Administration. Jonathan has written extensively both locally and internationally. He has contributed short-stories to Cross Borders e- magazine for British Council and also short pieces for BBC Focus on Africa Last Word slot. Mbuna has written over 20 English plays for MBC Theatre of the Air programme. He has also authored screen as well as radio plays for edu-entertainment programmes like Zimachitiika, Tili Tonse, Pakachere, Tifere Zina and Kusadziwa ndi Kafa Komwe and Mamas Restaurant the first Malawian TV soap opera. Overally, Mbuna has authored over 150 plays in edu-entertainment industry. The Man Returned came 8th in the 2008 FMB/MAWU Literary Awards.
