Joyce Chigiya (Mrs) born in 1960 is a primary school teacher by profession. She also has been studying creative writing, with special emphasis on the genre of poetry. She has had a number of poems published in local magazines as well as on the web. Her greatest achievement so far has been that a handful of her poems were translated into Chinese in an anthology entitled No Serenity Here (eds Kaiyu Xiao, Isabel Ferrin-Aguirre and Phillippa Yaa de Villiers).
