Moroccan filmmaker, based in Portland, Maine (USA).

Lamia LAZRAK is a director, screenwriter and editor.

She is known for "Unsinkable Ships" (2022), "Camoflauge" (2016), DAR MARJANA (upcoming).


She holds a degree in Film and Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She has worked on award winning projects around the world, including short music documentaries in Algeria, the Georgian Caucasus, Alaska, and Indonesia with Found Sound Nation. Her animated short, "Unsinkable Ships", earned festival acclaim, and she has edited films for the Points North Recovery in Maine program.

"Dar Marjana" is her first feature documentary project. With this project, she participates in the Pan-African Documentary Hive (La Ruche Documentaire Panafricaine), at FIDADOC 2025 (Agadir, Morocco).
