Laurent Contamin wrote several plays that take place in african countries : Lisolo, les Echos du Sable deals with abandoned children in the streets of Kinshasa. Sténopé occures in Mali, into dogon area. He also directed plays (for instance Juby and L'Enfant et la Rivière) which have been performed in Morocco.
