Martinican writer.
Loïc LÉRY is a writer.
He was born in April 1959 in Lamentin, Martinique. As a teenager, he treads the "homeland land" where he receives his first racial caps. A few years later, he ties up with the brothers of the ghetto to search Parisian post offices, which leads him to prison. It was in prison that he discovered literature, and more particularly the pillars of black literature, before turning into a talented writer. Upon his release from prison, he moved to Martinique where he has lived ever since, sharing his time between hospital work and writing. Loïc is a writer of detective novels set in his native country.
