Born in Madrid, Spain, Mane specialises in Anthropology of the Americas. She is the founder and director of the African Film Festival (FCAT), the only Spanish festival dedicated to African cinema and the African diaspora in Latin America. She is also the founder and director of the ONGD Al-Tarab, an organisation dedicated to promoting African cinema.
