Mohamed Lamine (Arabic: محمد لمين), born December 4, 1970, in Algiers, is an Algerian singer of Raï-Love.

At the age of 10 he formed a group to recite religious songs in a mosque located in the mountain village in Algeria where he spent his childhood.

In 1988, he began his musical career on record under the name Mohamed Amine, with the 7-track cassette album Hob El Aadra. Then, he experienced popular success in Algeria in 1989, with the album and the eponymous title Sidi Taleb.

It will be the album Raï N'B Fever by producers Kore and Skalp released in 2004, where he appears on three tracks, which will give him recognition beyond the borders of Algeria and the Arab world, with the hits Un Gaou à Oran with the groups Magic System and 113. Then with the title Mon Bled with the rapper Rohff and Cheba Maria and also the title Ntiya as a duet by the singer Kayliah.

Then Mohamed Lamine continued with duets and collaborations in several eclectic projects, including in 2006 the title track Loin du Rivage on the album La Mélodie des Briques by rapper Nessbeal. The same year, with singer Latifa Raâfat they released the 7-track album Twahhachtek Bezzaf (I miss you a lot).

In 2007, Reda 6k invited Mohamed Lamine to sing with him on the title Mamamiya, then in 2009, Mohamed Lamine appeared in African Tonik alongside DJ Arafat, Mokobé and Mory Kanté.

On Sunday, December 6, 2020, Mohamed Lamine announced during an interview on the Algerian television channel Echorouk TV, to stop the stage and the Raï Sentimantal to devote himself fully to religious songs, following his pilgrimage to Mecca. "It's a personal matter, I'm 50 years old, I prefer to opt for another musical style which is rarer in Algeria" declared Mohamed Lamine to his fans.
