Mohamed Zaghou was born in Tinghir (Morocco). After obtaining his scientific baccalaureate with distinction in 2006, he chose to study cinema and audiovisuals and obtained a diploma in directing. He joined the Cinematic Institute in Ouarzazate as an instructor in the photography department.
