Moshé MIZRAHI (Moshé Mizrahi, in Hebrew משה מזרחי) is an Israeli director and screenwriter. He was born on September 05, 1931 in Alexandria (then kingdom of Egypt) and died on August 03, 2018 in Tel Aviv (Israel).

Moshe Mizrahi was born on September 5, 1931 in Alexandria, Egypt. In 1946, he moved with his mother and younger brother to Mandatory Palestine.
In the 1950s, he trained as a self-taught filmmaker. In France, he works for television, for production and writes film reviews.
He has made 14 films in Israel and France. His most notable film is La Vie devant soi (1978), an adaptation of the successful novel of the same name by Romain Gary1. The film won the Oscar for best foreign language film for its director and its lead actress, Simone Signor, and the César for best actress.
