Neisha Agostini was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. From a young age she was fascinated with television and particularly enjoyed watching the relatively small number of local programmes produced in the early 80's. Impressed with seeing lokal culture represented on television it became her ambition to see this trend continue and promote the islands talents and abilities.

She chose to pursue a BSc in Television and Film Production from Boston University. After successfully completing her studies she moved to NYC in 1999 where she held a number of positions in various sectors of the industry ranging from animation to television promos. Moving to London in 2001 she realised that her passion lay in documentary film makeing and received a MA in Documentary from Goldsmiths College in 2003 along with interning at a number of independent documentary companies.

Upon her return to Trinidad in 2004 she produced a number of successful documentaries, which were aired locally such as the series Stylemakers and also Ivan the Terrible which was well received at international film festivals.
