Nyambura Mpesha is a Kenyan writer, recipient of The Jomo Kenyatta Prize for literature and has published numerous works in English and Swahili including Mugasha: A Haya Epic and Lofty Tones.
She is a language instructor in Swahili at DAAS (Department of Afroamerican and African Studies, University of Michigan).
