Olivier KWITONDA is a rwandan artist,born on 5th June 1987 in actual south province of Rwanda ,Huye district and he is living in Kigali thereafter genocide against tutsis;from 1997.
 
Olivier Kwitonda got a talent from his childhood,he used to draw and doing many competitions in primary schools;then since he finished his secondary school,he attended URUMURI ARTS(it was a group of two artists who have already done art at Nyundo) as an amateur.Olivier,as well as he didn't have much money,he tried to pay Urumuri arts for almost six months months and they helped him to produce his talent.And then Olivier knew a brother-friend Tony Cyizanye for long,of course they know each other since 2008.Olivier has choosen to do art,not for getting money or that he has got a talent,but also to help his sister and brothers whom he is taking in charge from 2002.That's even why he attended Yego arts in June 2013,which is the first one he is working with after his formation at Urumuri arts.
 
Olivier gets art inspiration from rwandan life and also from some of known famous artists;even though in his paintings,he is focused on rwandan culture,life in Rwanda(traditionnal and modern),neighbourhood…
 
EXHIBITIONS:
 
-In 2011,he participate in five by five(organised by five famous artists in Rwanda included Epa Binamungu,Pascal Bushayija,…)!He attended just to take look or to get how you can perform in public,cause that time then he was with Urumuri arts.
 
-In September 2013,he perform in exhibition organised by Yego arts at Heaven Restaurant.
