Pape Amath N' diaye (Paamath): author, composer, interpreter, guitarist, singer. An exceptional artist distilling a music " Afro francophone" between Folk song, blues, traditional and songs.
In begun his musical career in 1987 with the Afro group reggae "Exil" in the region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Many concerts made in this region led them up to the Printemps de Bourges 89, before taking for base, the region of the southwest which saw the separation of the group in 1990.
It is in the same region and the same year that Pape Amath N' diaye and Francine Tièche (flutist, saxophonist and singer) created the duet Buru. Troug the roads of France and the world, this duet multiplying the tours, the big cultural events and many beautiful meetings such as Salif Keita, Youssou N' dour, Claude Nougaro, Michel Jonasz, either still Thomas Fersen, Bill Deraim, Sheik Tidiane Seck or Joe Zawinul...
