Pape Teigne Diouf was born in 1970, in the village of Diakhao, centers of one of the most traditional areas of Senegal, where it receives an education with more close to the Sereer culture, cradle of its people. L' history of its first years is that of a child fascinated by manual work, more especially as it is partly excluded from it. Indeed, it belongs to the aristocratic chalk-lining of the company Sereer and are to him thus in fact prohibited a certain number of activities, reserved either to the women, or with the men of the other castes. To fifteen years, It follows to Dakar a secondary education. At 18 years, it enters to the National School of the Art schools where it follows a resolutely contemporary teaching exempted by professors in great French majority. It follows also courses of history of art, student, antiquity at our days, the great movements of European art. After a few years of training general practitioner of the traditional plastic techniques and history of art, it directs towards the section "decoration/graphics" of the school. That leads it to attend the theatre world, of television, cinema,et to carry out a report of end of study on scenography.
