Senegalese film director, screenwriter and producer.
Pape Théodore SÈYE is a director, screenwriter and producer of documentaries and short films.
He is known for "Le Berger de l'île de Ngor" (2018, Director), "Le Dakar Alternatif" (2019, Director), ICEBERG (2021, Director).
Born in 1995 and raised in Dakar. His work deals mainly with subjects related to art, culture and contemporary lifestyles in Africa.
His background is rather scientific. After obtaining his baccalaureate in the S1 series (mathematics, physics and chemistry), he pursued higher education in mathematics, a field in which he obtained his Bachelor's degree (bac+4) in 2018 at the University of Ottawa in Canada.
His short drama ICEBERG (2021) World Premiered at the 2021 SAIFF - South African Indie Film Festival (Cape Town) then was selected at 2021 Dakar Court Film Festival (Senegal).
