Pascal has been actively working in the film industry since 1996 and has been producing corporate work, commercials, documentaries and feature films since 2004 under his own production and distribution company Amariam Pictures.

In 2009 he produced his first documentary for television (SABC) as well as completing his first full length feature film in the same year titled "Adera", which has enjoyed a string of successes, including selection at 16 international film festivals, winning 1 award.

Pascal has also been a board member of the documentary filmmakers association (DFA) since 2008 and is actively involved in promoting the genre of documentary in South Africa. He has been invited twice to teach up-and-coming filmmakers in Addis Ababa by the Ethiopian Film Initiative, leading a master class on HD filmmaking at the Addis Ababa University as well as hosting a one-week workshop on documentary filmmaking with two fellow South African filmmakers. He has also organised the first South African documentary filmmaker delegation to the Hot Docs in Toronto, Canada putting SA on the map in the international documentary festival scene.
