Chadian filmmaker.

Socio-cultural animator by training and after working for many years with various associations, Pepiang Toufdy made his directional debut in 2006 with "Lettres de l'étranger", a short film he scripted as part of a workshop at the Youth Workers' Centre of Tours.
In 2008 he made "Enfant immigré", a multi-award winning film, before
directing in 2013 his debut feature film "Esclavage moderne de Fatou", recently awarded as Best Film from Central Africa at the 2016 Ecrans Noirs Film Festival in Cameroon.
