Sachiko Soro (born Miller) was active in the dance performances when she school in Fiji. She got a degree in Music majoring in Composition and a degree in Performing Arts with a major in Dance from the University of Auckland. She returned to Fiji and worked for a year at the Oceania Centre for Arts whereshe organized Fiji's first dance festival : the Oceania Dance Festival. In 2007, she decided to found VOU,  it always been her dream to set up a collective as VOU.  During her career in arts, she performed, composed and choreographed in many place : New Zealand, New Caledonia, India, Chine, Solomon islands, Malaysia, Australia, Samoa and Singapore. She feels proud and lucky to do what she wants to and what she loves. She wish one day arts education will be accessible all over the Pacific and find his place in the education systems.
