A graduate of the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, Steve JACOBS works as an actor, director and producer.
His directorial debut was The Spanish Woman (2001) which he also produced and script edited.
Disgrace won the International Critics Award in the Special Presentations category of the Toronto International Film Festival.

ANOTHER BIOGRAPHY:
Steve Jacobs' career in the film industry began behind the scenes, writing and directing short innovative fi lms and video productions in Sydney and London. He returned to Australia to write and direct a 30 minute political satire "The Man You Know". Since then he has written several film scripts and performed extensively as an actor. His first feature, "La Spagnola" (2001), won the Audience Award at the Mannheim-Heidelberg Film Festival and won Best Original Score at the Australian Film Institute Awards.
