Wisdom Dede Kamkondo is a writer. He took to writing seriously when his manuscript The Innocem Boy won cash prize in the 1978 British Council Creative Writing Competition. Since then he wrote many plays and short stories. His three novels were published by Popular Publications before he went to the USA to pursue his Ph.D. Former lecturer at Bunda College. University of Malawi. Dede was one time chairman of Lingadzi Writers Workshop in Lilongwe.
