Actress-Writer/Director-Producer Yolonda Ross is a native of Omaha, Nebraska who made her feature film debut in HBO's "Stranger Inside" (for which she earned an IFP Gotham Award). Her talent as an actor can be recognized in Denzel Washington's The Antwone Fisher Story, Victoria Mahoney's Yelling To The Sky, 24, Law And Order, HBO's Treme, HBO/David Mamet's Phil Spector Biopic, and David Mamet's The Unit (Mr. Mamet wrote the part for her himself). She was recently nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for her portrayal of Fontayne in John Sayles' Go For Sisters. Her directorial debut, Breaking Night, is currently doing the festival circuit and has become the music video for Manfred Mann's version of Blinded by the Light. @YolondaRoss
