Zakiya Gill is an anointed and hardworking writer, poet, dramatist and actor. She grew up in the rural community of Guayaguayare where she found her passion for the performing arts.
She has been involved in dance, writing, poetry and drama since she was 12 years old. She continues to explore her talents and perfecting her craft.
Zakiya views the stage as a playground when she can freely express herself. With every performance, her audience is taken on an exciting new adventure full of raw feeling and passion that arouses both emotion and thought.
