Legendary Ivorian reggae artist Tiken Jah Fakoly, real name Doumbia Moussa Fakoly cleared the air that being a Rastafarian is by spirit but not smoking marijuana and having dreadlocks.

Tiken headlined artistes who performed at Isano festival which kicked off on Feb 17, at Petite stadium Amahoro.
The reggae icon disclosed the information while appearing live at KT Radio where he explained more about his music, social life and Rastafarianism.

"You don't need to be black or white to be a Rasta and smoking weed has never been a symbol of Rastafarianism because Rastafarianism is all about good spirit to speak for the voiceless people," says Tiken.
The reggae veteran currently stays in Mali with his family and he came to Rwanda after performing in Amani festival in DR Congo
