What is Tibeb?

Tibeb has an ancient history, originating with Dorze people. It is the name given to the handwoven jacquard designs unique to Ethiopia, traditionally used to trim dresses, nettela and gabis.

Tibeb's quality comes from the weaver's meticolous work.
It may take from 10 to 14 hours to weave 2 metres of tibeb in any pattern.

Tibeb, the renaissance.
By using this traditional fabrics tibeb, we are creathing new designs for exciting and elegant lady-dresses, a tribute to the exquisite quality of the tibeb.
Out fits with a creative edge and elegant silhoutte, bride's gown and matching bridemmaids'dresses,
designed vests, shawls, ties... always by elegance and high fashion.
