Chike Maduegbuna is an entrepreneur, founder and Managing Director of FansConnectOnline Limited: a Mobile Application, Digital Marketing and Social Media start-up in Nigeria. In less than a year of operation, FansConnectOnline built the largest football-based social networking website in Nigeria (www.fansconnectonline.com). It also developed a geo-location application, Naija Places (www.naijaplaces.com), which won the first Samsung Mobile Application Developers contest in 2010. Prior to starting FansConnectOnline, Chike was a technical director at GRID Consulting Limited, which he joined in 2000. GRID is a Nigerian multi-disciplinary consulting firm, which provides integrated Financial Management consulting services to the public and private sectors.

Chike has over 16 years' experience developing, advising and implementing design and review of systems in Project Management, Financial Management, Accounting, Human Resources and Tax for private sector firms, international and developmental organizations including the UK Department for International Development, USAID, EU and DANIDA.?He trained as an accountant with Price Waterhouse Coopers and obtained a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a M.Sc. in Development Management from the UK Open University.

Chike created the Afrinolly app which has been a remarkable game changer in African film landscape, particularly for the youth generation.
